Summer Leadership Program 2021
Virtual Internship

Call it what you will - a virtual internship, remote internship or working online, it all means the same thing – it’s a work experience where the work is done virtually and remotely rather than in person. It’s just like a regular internship experience, except you gain experience while working remotely, rather than being physically present in the office or employment location.

Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic the Summer Leadership Program 2021 will be administered as a virtual internship experience. We very much care about the opportunities and potential to provide young Canadians with this unique and extraordinary internship experience. In order to ensure we follow all public health and safety measures to keep safe and stop the spread of the virus, this year’s program will provide participants with a remote internship experience.

When completing a virtual internship many of the same aspects of a traditional in-person internship still exist including, meetings with your supervisor or teammates, completing a mix of individual and group projects, and learning about the overall company culture and industry it works in.
